Winneba Government hospital record one birth on New Year eve

Winneba (C/R) Jan. 1 GNA-The Winneba Government hospital recorded one birth, a girl on the New Year eve, Mrs. Helena Parry, a nursing officer on duty on the maternity ward of the hospital told the Ghana News Agency at Winneba. According to Mrs. Parry both the baby and her mother were in good condition of health.

Speaking in an interview she attributed the low number of the birth to intensive education on the need to practice family method to avoid unwanted pregnancy. “This is a clear indication that people in the area are now accepting the family planning message”, she declared.
