Why the rush for copies of Kwesi Botchwey report – Yamin asks Journalists

Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports under erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Joseph Yammin has wondered why there is rush by the media for copies of the Kwasi Botchwey report which gives reasons for the party’s loss in the 2016 polls.

“Why is it so important in the document that will make you chase for copies. Why won’t you chase for the amendments made to the Constitution” the former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister asked.

“What is so particular in the report that you want your listeners to know and you particularly are much interested in” Hon. Joseph Yammin asked the host of Ultimate FM’s Morning Show, Lamtam Papanko.

“Are you a member of NDC to push for a copy? Your intent is to get me information in the document. I do not need it as an NDC member and this is simple” the aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party fumed.

According to Hon. Joseph Yammin, the 445-page report remains a classified document of the party and only functional executives will get access to have full content of it.

“I am not sure the Kwesi Botchwey report was to tell us reasons for our defeat. It is to gather information and offer recommendations as to what we need to do in the near future” the immediate past Deputy NADMO Coordinator stated.

Mr. Joseph Yammin revealed that NDC National Executivs Committee (NEC) have received a copy of the report and will study it after which copies will be made available to every member.
