Accra, Aug 4, GNA – The Meteorological Service Department on Monday announced that the weather will be very cloudy and dull over the entire country with widespread mist or fog patches over most places of southern Ghana this morning. This is expected to clear by mid-morning to give way to a fair weather day with mild temperature values and occasional slight rain over the coast.
Thunderstorms may kick off over very few areas in the northern sector and the hilly areas of southern Ghana by late afternoon. The night is expected to be cold with early morning hill fog over the sheltered areas of southern Ghana tomorrow.
Maximum an minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Monday and 0600 hours on Tuesday were given as: Coastal areas, between 28 and 22 degrees Celsius; Forest and mountainous areas, between 30 and 20 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 32 and 23 degrees Celsius. 04 Aug.2003
