The West African Examination Council WAEC has released results of this year’s basic education certificate examination

The results cover a total of 233,780 candidates from 6, 159 schools who took part in the examinations. In a statement, WAEC said the results for schools and statement of results for individual candidates have been sent to the branch offices of the council in the regional capitals.

WAEC urged district directors of education to contact the council’s branch controllers for the results of the schools in the districts. The council reminded parents and candidates to contact the heads of schools for the statement of results at no cost to them.
