Voter’ ID Replacement exercise is to prevent double registration

Sekondi, March 17, GNA – The Lost Voter’ Identity Card Replacement Exercise is to prevent double registration during the revision of voters register in May, Mr George Gyaabah, Deputy Western Regional Director of Electoral Commission (EC), said on Monday. Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sekondi, he said experience had shown that those who lost their voter identity cards preferred re-registering to get new identity cards to seeking for a replacement.
