Volta Region SIC achieves 69 per cent positive variance

Ho, Dec. 26, GNA – The Volta Regional Branch of the State Insurance Company has achieved a total of 69 per cent positive variance for 2007. It registered 16 per cent positive variance for motor business, 75 per cent for fire, 117 per cent for accident, 26 per cent for marine and 15 per cent positive variance for life. Mr Richard Doamekpor, Volta Regional Branch Manager of SIC, said this at an agents, clients and staff appreciation ceremony organized by the company.

He said legitimate and straightforward claims were settled promptly without any problem within the year. Mr Doamekpor said as a result of an increase in premium income, management expenses per employee had reduced resulting in an “astronomical increase” in premium income per employee and that management remained committed to the welfare of both employees and clients of the company. “Management is aware that you, employees and our clients are the source of the company’s success story and will always make you part of its success celebrations”, he said. Mr Doamekpor said the Regional Branch of the Company was doing its best to remain the insurance company of choice in the region and called on stakeholders to support the branch realize its dreams. He said the branch had identified 10 other agency offices in addition to existing ones to bring insurance to the doorstep of people in the region.
