Vodafone Ghana restores service after network outage

Vodafone Ghana has restored services after a nationwide network outage, which affected its landline and mobile platforms.

Early Tuesday morning the company issued a statement apologising to all our customers nationwide for the challenges on the network. We have since identified the root cause of the outage and have resolved the issue.

Chief Executive Officer, Haris Broumidis, said the company had instituted a full scale investigation into the incident and will soon provide a detailed report to the regulator, the National Communications Authority, NCA.

“We regret the inconvenience caused by the network outage experienced yesterday and we sincerely apologise to all our customers. Service is now restored and all our customers should be able to make and receive calls, send text messages and browse the internet”, he said.
