Vice President leaves for Gabon

Accra, March 19, GNA – The Vice President, Mr John Dramani Mahama left Accra on Thursday for Gabon to participate in the funeral of Gabon’s First Lady, Lucy Edith Bongo. Mrs Bongo, who was a daughter of President Dennis Sassou Nguesso of neighbouring Republic of Congo, passed away last Saturday in a hospital in Rabat, Morocco. The Vice President was seen off by some government officials. 19 March 09
