President John Dramani Mahama has guaranteed the people of Volta Region of his commitment to improving the quality of major roads in the region.
The President has been on a tour of ongoing road projects in the region.
Addressing Chiefs and people of Todome in the South Dayi district of the Region, he assured that several roads in the capital Ho and other major towns have been earmarked for asphalting.
He indicated that contrary to the outcry of the residents, the region has not been neglected by his government.
The President further noted that plans are far advanced to ensure that communities without water and electricity get connected to the national supply.
