Accra, Feb. 09, GNA – The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) will receive Single Spine salary arrears by Wednesday, 29th of February, 2012.
This was agreed at a meeting facilitated by the Ministry of Education for stakeholders to agree on how to resolve the salary impasse which has resulted in some public universities resorting to strike action.
The meeting was attended by the Auditor-General, Officials from the Ministry of Finance, Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) and executives of UTAG from the various public universities.
