Tema, Dec 20, GNA – Two prisoners who escaped from Tema Community Two police cells have been jailed for 12 months each in hard labour by the Tema circuit court ‘B’.
Louis Darko, 26, and Emmanuel Omanyi Anaman, 45, pleaded guilty on charges of conspiracy and escape from lawful custody.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Robert Aganiba, prosecuting, told the court that on October 23, Louis and Emmanuel were among 10 others who escaped from cells on October 23.
