Two NPP vigilante groups clash over appointment of Security Coordinator

Two vigilante groups of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP); Delta Force and Invincible Force have clashed over the appointment of one Mr. George Agyei as the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator.

The group in their numbers stormed the administrative office of the region and appealed to the President through the Region Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah to revoke appointment of Mr. George Agyei.

Members of the Delta Force in a protestation claimed the appointee is alien in NPP and as a private security wing in the party they do not know him and therefore doubt his loyalty to the party.

But another group, Invincible Force has promised its support to Mr. Agyei threatening to with clash Delta Force in any move to protest against the President appointee.

In a media banter, Chairman of Delta Force claims the Invincible Force have no business in the matter since they are not recognised by the party’s leadership.

Meanwhile, information available to mynewsgh.com indicates that Invincible Force was from Delta Force in the year 2004 after misunderstanding broke out between the rank and file of its members.
