Etokrom (E/R), Jan 26, GNA – Two people died and two others were injured when a when a car ploughed through them at Etokrom near Bunso. An eyewitness, Prophet Opoku Afriyie, said Amma Ofosua, 20, who was carrying a baby at the back was walking from Etokrom to a nearby village with her two sisters and a brother.
He said as soon as they walked past a stationary vehicle a mini bus emerged from the opposite direction and him them, killing Ofosua on the spot.
Akua Anima, 18, Kwaku Amakye, 18, and one-year-old Aya Hamidu were taken to the Kibi Government Hospital where Anima died. The Osiem police have confirmed the accident and are investigating.
