Two farmers arrested for cultivating wee

Kpassa (V/R), Oct. 29, GNA- The Nkwanta Police have apprehended Ibrahim Manyiteh, 32 and Kwasi Kabuja, 18, both farmers for allegedly cultivating wee on their farms at Kpassa in the Nkwanta District. Mr. Hayford Asempah, a Detective Inspector of Police in charge of crime in the district told the GNA that, on September 23, this year at about 1050 hours the Police had information that the suspects have cultivated plants suspected to be Indian hemp.

He said the Police arrested the suspects and escorted them to the farm where the plants were uprooted and brought to the Police station. Mr. Asempah said the suspects have been granted bail but would be put before court soon.
