Two brothers wanted over involvement in murder

The Agona Swedru Police District Command is looking for two brothers involved in the death of a 23-year-old mason.

They are Abu Sulemana, suspected to have stabbed the mason, Kweku Adu, to death and his brother Baba Sulemana, a barber, who aided the suspect to run away.

A police spokesman told the GNA that on April 18 Abu Sulemana stabbed Kweku Adu during a misunderstanding between them.

He said on the morning of May 14, the day for the burial of Adu, some angry youth, suspected to be sympathizers of the deceased person, destroyed a barbering shop belonging to Baba Sulemana.

The spokesman said some people set fire to the destroyed wooden shop that swept through other shops and it took personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Mr Yaw Nyarkoh, Assemblyman for the Nsusosouso Electoral Area, appealed to the sympathizers to remain calm and allow the police to carry out their investigations.
