TV 3 workers demonstrate

Workers of TV3 have staged a demonstration to demand better conditions of service.

The demonstration on the company?s premises in Accra was also to protest against what the workers call great disparities in the salaries and other allowances between the workers and management of the TV station.

When JOYNEWS got to the company?s premises the atmosphere was charged with some of the workers, clad in red bands, shouting and ringing bells Union executives refused to speak to JOYNEWS but investigations revealed that the union leaders had been meeting with the management of the company all day.

The workers are demanding the immediate implementation of a collective bargaining agreement.

The workers accuse the management of the company of not been sensitive to their needs.
