Tufohene of Dawu swears oath of allegiance

Dawu Akuapem, Nov. 22 GNA -Mr Seth Kwadwo Yeboah, former chairman of Dawu Youngsters Football Club, has been installed Tufohene of Dawu under the stool name Okatakyie Ofosu Yeboah.

The 60-year-old businessman over the weekend swore the oath of allegiance to Nana Awuku Bram II, Kyidomhene and Acting Chief of Dawu and his elders amidst dancing and jubilations.

He arrived for the ceremony in his white, silk royal robe in the company of some kingmakers and his entourage, some of whom carried his silver stool.

Okatakyie Yeboah was blessed by Nana Awuku Bram, who directed the ceremony and poured libation to the ancestors to guide the new chief.

He expressed his appreciation to the kingmakers of Dawu for the confidence reposed in him and said he would bring development to the area’
