Trending GH: Jail him if found guilty – Ghanaians on Ibrahim Mahama’s EOCO probe

Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former President John Dramani Mahama was yesterday invited by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to answer some questions on his business activities.

The investigative agency’s probes follow allegations that the businessman was ‘robbing’ the state of huge sums of money due to fraudulent business transactions.

It has emerged that the head of Engineers and Planners issued dud cheques as Customs duties to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to clear some equipment he had imported into the country through the Tema Port.

He has been a subject of gossips since his brother, former President Mahama’s term of office till date and had been extensively criticized by Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong of been a criminal who should be put behind bars.

A section of Ghanaians who have been speaking to www.ghanaweb.com want the laws to deal with Ibrahim Mahama should EOCO investigations prove him guilty of fraud in his dealings.
