Transport Owner Commits Suicide ?

Mampong (Ash), June 19, – A transport owner, Mr Kwabena Amoako, 49, reportedly committed suicide last Sunday at Ashanti-Mampong. Mr Amoako, also known as “Black “Power”, was alleged to have hanged himself on a mango tree on a corn-farm near the University College of Education of Winneba, Ashanti-Mampong Campus. According to the Ashanti-Mampong police, Mr Amoako was believed to have tied his shirt to his belt and hanged himself with it. The body has since been deposited at the Mampong District Hospital for autopsy. The police are investigating the incident.
