Kumasi, Dec. 20, GNA – A group of traders at the Kumasi Central Market, known as The Business Democrats of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), have hailed the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) for its success in decongesting the Central Business District (CBD).

“We have followed with keen interest developments at the CBD since the decongestion commenced some months ago and wish to express our gratitude to the Assembly for sustaining the exercise”.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Messrs Kwabena Ofori-Amanfo and Daniel Boachie-Ansah, Secretary and Chairman respectively and issued in Kumasi on Saturday.

It expressed optimism that traders, pedestrians and drivers would comply with the directives for the sustenance of the exercise to beautify Kumasi and also ensure free vehicular and human movements. 20 Dec. 09
