Tobinco: Suit against FDA not withdrawn

Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Company says it has not withdrawn its suit against the Food and Drugs Authority from court.

The company is seeking an injunction to stop the FDA from blacklisting and destroying its products.

The FDA has seized consignments of drugs and condoms imported by Tobinco after labeling them unregistered and fake.

Counsel for Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Company, Frederick Asamoah, has told XYZ NEWS in an interview that the company is still in court seeking redress.

According to Mr. Asamoah, per the laws of the country, the FDA can only destroy the products if it has the warrant to do so.

“They have not showed us any court order and they are disposing of it so we say that it is wrong…that does not in any way mean that we are taking the case out of court.
