Tobinco Group of Companies devotes GH¢150,000 to support fire, flood victims

The Tobinco Group of Companies has set aside an amount of GH¢150,000 to assist in the treatment of victims of the twin disaster as well help them build up their lives.

The company has devoted the said amount as a response to calls for support to assist victims who have lost all due to the disaster.

Management of Atinka 104.7 FM, a subsidiary of Tobinco Group of Companies on Wednesday June 10, 2015, presented a check for GH¢10,000 to the National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to defray the cost of surgery for six victims of the flood, fire disaster.

The check was presented by the General Manager of Atinka FM, Emmanuel Kyei Boate and some staff of Atinka Fm at the Burns unit.

Receiving the check the Acting Head of the Unit Dr. Albert Painstil expressed gratitude to Atinka FM and the Tobinco Group for the kind gesture and appealed to other corporate organisations and individuals to do same.

The Tobinco Foundation had on Wednesday morning donated GH¢5000 to the TV3 June 3, and presented medical supplies worth GH¢20,000.

Several health screening activities have also been scheduled to take place in the Country’s capital.
