TMA to build International Trade Centre

Accra, Aug. 4, GNA – An ultra-modern international trade centre is to be built at Baatsona on the Spintex Road by the Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA).

The centre would comprise shopping malls, exhibition centres, recreational and health facilities and other socio-economic projects. Mr Kwesi Appiah, who is in charge of the project, told the Ghana News Agency on Thursday that the TMA mooted that idea to make Tema an interesting business and leisure environment for local and international businessmen and businesswomen.

He said the project design was ready but would be modified when prospective investors arrived for implementation. Mr Appiah said the Government had given 10.5 hectares for the project, which when completed would enhance the development of the nation by creating jobs.

He appealed to interested local and international investors to invest in the project.
