Tipper truck injures seven people

Ejisu (Ash), June 11, GNA- Seven people including a driver, sustained serious injuries when a tipper truck run into a mini bus at Ejisu last Wednesday.

All the injured were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

Briefing news on the accident, Mr Peter Baba, the Ejisu-Juaben district Police Commander, said the mini bus was travelling from Kumawu to Kumasi.

He said on joining the Kumasi-Accra highway at Ejisu, the driver, Samuel Yaw Marfo, contended that he heard a loud horn and seconds after, the tipper truck, heading towards Konongo rammed into the mini bus.
