Ghanaian TikToker Sexy Afrah has admitted to regretting her decision to leave her British husband just three weeks after their wedding to pursue a relationship with Ghanaian entertainer Achipalago.
In an emotional interview on the Delay Show on Sunday, August 24, Afrah revealed that she had already been unfaithful before relocating to the United Kingdom, maintaining secret communication with Achipalago, who convinced her that life with him in Ghana promised greater security.
“He told me he was capable of providing for me and that my future looked brighter with him,” Afrah said. “I believed him, even though it meant cutting myself off from my family.”
Afrah stressed the choice was entirely her own, saying she left her marriage believing it was the path to a better life. “I chose to walk away from my husband because I thought life with Achipalago would give me a better future,” she admitted.
However, reality soon set in. Upon returning to Ghana, the relationship quickly fell apart, leaving her disillusioned. “It was nothing like what I was promised,” Afrah said, fighting back tears as she described the experience as a painful life lesson.
While she avoided naming Achipalago directly during the interview, her comments left little doubt about whom she was referring to. Their dramatic breakup had already unfolded across social media, sparking public debates over love, marriage, and loyalty.
Afrah concluded by saying she now recognises her worth and is determined to make better choices moving forward.
