No deaths have yet been reported. A police spokesman for Effutu Municipal police Command, briefing newsmen in Winneba on Sunday, said an unregistered Toyota Salon car which was heading towards Cape Coast collided head-on with a Golf Salon car that was coming from the opposite direction of the road. The police source said all the seven persons on the two vehicles were seriously injured and were receiving treatment at the Winneba Government hospital.

The Police said they were not able to get the names of the victims because doctors and nurses at the hospital were busily attending to them.
