The paper says the ruling party is to engage in another court room drama at Tema. It says in the twist of events, two staunch members of the party, Mr. Christian Ago Vanderpuje, ward co- ordinator at Ashaiman and Mr. Stephen Annak, former youth organiser of Ga-North constituency, have filed contempt of court proceedings against the NDC at Tema High court.
According to their leading counsel, Mr. Alfred Agbesi, his cliets are aggrieved because the NDC has failed to abide by a Tema High court ruling, the paper says.
The High Court, presided over by Mrs. Felicity Amoah, had ruled that the party violated its constitution by the procedure it adopted to organise its Greater Accra Regional conference.
The Guide says the court therefore ordered that before its regional conference, the organisers should abide by a provision in the NDC constitution which stipulates that “constituency conferences shall elect delegates to represent them at regional party conference and national congress”.
