The Voice in a front page lead story story headlined: “Why opposition boycotted 5th anniversary”, the Public Agenda says the absence of the key players in the opposition from the fifth anniversary celebration of the Fourth Republic has been explained by Mrs Gladys Asmah, Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament. According to Mrs Asmah, since the celebration grounds had been festooned with NDC flag and colours, the Opposition felt sidelined and deliberately boycotted the occasion. “If it was a national affair, how could it have been decorated with NDC flags?, the Public Agenda quoted Mrs Asmah as asking.
