Ketan (W/R), April 22, GNA – Reverend Henry Bart-Plange, District Pastor of the Sekondi District of the Assembly of God Church on Friday said the blood of Jesus is still powerful and able to meet the present day spiritual needs of mankind.
“The blood that was shed some 2000 years ago, is still fresh and active and can deliver you from all your woes if only you believe and trust in it”, he added.
Rev Bart-Plange, also the Head Pastor of the Word Miracle Assemblies of God Church at Ketan in Sekondi who was delivering a sermon titled: 93The Blood of Jesus,” on Good Friday as part of church activities marking this year’s Easter celebrations called on Christians to 93use the blood” daily to ensure victory in their day-to-day affairs.
He noted that there was healing, redemption, hope, breakthrough and success among all other things in the blood of Christ. Rev Bart-Plange, who drew an analogy from the stay of the Israelites in Egypt, noted that it was the blood of the lamb as instructed by God that eventually saved them from the affliction of the Pharaoh.
“In our days, the Blood of Jesus is still powerful and sharper and readily available to anybody for safety,” he said.
