The blood of Jesus can rescue Ghana – Pastor Asamoah

The Reverend Isaac Obed Asamoah, in charge of Gospel Faith Ministries, at A-Lang in Accra, has asked Christians to continue to put their trust in Jesus to save the nation from its current state.

He said Christ as the precious gift of God to mankind conquered the world of sin, and through His blood that was shed, every challenge has become surmountable.

Preaching at a Good Friday Church Service on the theme: “The Importance of the Blood”. Rev Asamoah said; just as the natural human blood supplies life to every cell in the body, “Spiritually, any part of your life that is cut off from the blood of Jesus is dead or dying”.

“Your blood also carries away wastes and toxins from your cells. Spiritually, without the blood of Jesus, your life would be filled with filth.”

He urged Christians to be thankful to God for the blood of Jesus that removes the dirt of sin from “our daily lives”.

Rev. Asamoah said the blood of Jesus fights off sickness, and protects people from diseases, adding that there is nothing the devil could bring against those who believe in Jesus.

“The blood of Jesus is sufficient to overcome all the challenges we are facing as a country; we just have to believe.”

As part of activities to mark Easter celebrations, members of the congregation embarked on five-day prayer and fasting for the nation to be climaxed on the resurrection Sunday, April 20, to be followed by a picnic on Easter Monday, April 21 at the Church premises.
