The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised the Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICCG), Pastor Mensah Otabil, for seeing all the developments going on under the administration of President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking to GhanaPoliticsOnline.com, Mr. Anyidoho said that it’s obvious Mensah Otabil is seeing the developments going on that’s why he’s telling Ghanaians that they shouldn’t be content with only development but money in their pockets.
“It’s the development that will lead to money into the pocket of Ghanaians, because, if you build communities, schools and parents pay less, more money will go into their pockets,” Mr. Anyidoho asserted.
Mr. Anyidoho’s comment comes in at the time that Pastor Otabil called on Ghanaians to demand better of governments. “We can’t just be happy because a road has been tarred. We can’t just be happy that we didn’t have electricity and now we have electricity.
He continued, “We can’t be happy with minimals,” and also added, “…citizens must have an appetite for better government,” Pastor Otabil said.
