Tepa district hospital receives ambulance

Tepa (Ash), Oct 24, GNA – The government has presented an ambulance to the Tepa district hospital to facilitate its services to the people of Ahafo-Ano North district.

Nana Eric Agyemang Prempeh, the District Chief Executive, who presented the ambulance, urged the hospital administration to ensure that it was used purposely in conveying accidents victims and patients who are referred to other facilities for medical attention. The DCE stressed the need for proper maintenance of the vehicle to prolong its life span.

Mr Collins Kesseh, the Hospital Administrator thanked the government for the gesture, saying the lack of ambulance at the hospital had been a major problem for the hospital.

He gave the assurance that the vehicle would be used for the purpose for which it was presented.
