Ten Justices sworn into office to the Superior Courts of Judicature

Accra, Oct. 15, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Friday swore into office 10 Justices of the Superior Courts of Judicature at a ceremony at the Castle, Osu.

The three Justices to the Supreme Court were, Mr Justice Felix Michael Lartey, Mr Justice Julius Ansah and Mr Justice Richard Twum Aninakwah.

The seven Justices to the High Court were, Mr Justice Ato Assan, Mr Justice Andrews Amosah Abanga, Mr Justice Ringo Cass Akurugu Azumah and Mr Justice Erasmus Gyinae.

The rest were Mr Justice Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, Mr Justice Kwasi Anto Ofori Atta and Mr Justice David Kwate Ofosu-Quartey. One person sworn in as a Regional Tribunal Chairman was Mr Justice Samuel Frank Manu.

President Kufuor administered the oath of allegiance while the Chief Justice Mr Justice George Kingsley Acquah administered the Judicial Oath.

Present at the ceremony was Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ms Gloria Akufo, Deputy Minister of Justice.
