TEIN appeals to EOCO to be bold and professional

Kumasi, Jan. 24, GNA – The Ashanti Regional branch of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has demanded of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) boldness and professionalism in its investigations to get to the bottom the GH¢58 million judgment debt to Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

“It is our fervent hope that EOCO will be extremely professional, courageous and independent in carrying their investigations to unravel the cause of this liability to the state so that the transgressors of the law would be punished.”

The group also asked the investigative body not to “renege on its legal obligations for some political or fanciful reasons.”
