Techiman South Constituency NDC organiser denies report

Techiman, (B/A), July 9, GNA – The Techiman South Constituency Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Sulemana Owusu on Wednesday denied media speculation that the party was driving away New Patriotic Party (NPP) functionaries from government owned businesses in the municipality.

He said some NPP followers were making what was described as “unfounded allegations” and therefore asked the people to treat such media reports with contempt.

Mr Owusu said the NPP followers in the municipality were being hunted by the actions of their party in the constituency when they sacked known NDC functionaries from NADMO, Non-Formal Education Division and National Mobilization Programme among others in 2001. He said those speculations were only propaganda by the NPP and urged the people to have faith in the government to move the country forward.
