A seven- year -old pupil of Danbisco School located at Official Town in Ashaiman ended up at the Tema General Hospital after his teacher cruelly lashed him for not doing his homework.
The teacher, known as Sir George, subjected the poor boy to severe beatings, leaving huge cane marks on his back, head , hands and backside.
Parents of the pupil have declined to report the matter to the police as report suggests that school authorities had offered to pay the medical bills of the Class Two pupil.
Sources say the teacher has regretted his actions and has subsequently apologised to the boy’s family.
