TDC pensioners Association inaugurated

Tema, July 28, GNA – A 46-member Tema Development Corporation Pensioners Association (TEDCOPA), was inaugurated at the weekend with a call on members to offer suggestions to help make the corporation efficient.

Mr Kofi Mensah Dametia, Director of Administration of the TDC, who performed the inauguration, said the contributions from the corporation’s former employees was important to promote the government’s agenda to provide houses for the people.

He said it was the aim of the TDC management to ensure that staff, who had gone on pension are properly taken care of, because of their good work in the past. “You should remain part and parcel of TDC,” he added.

Mr Dametia called on Ghanaians to change their attitude towards those who have contributed to the development of the country, adding, “this will let them be an inspiration for the youth.” Executive Officers for the Association are Mr Samuel Adjakojo, Chairman, Mr David Tawiah Odamtton, Vice-Chairman, Mr Raymond Quo Savi, Secretary, Mr Gardesey, Financial Secretary and Mrs Monica Vasnani, Treasurer.
