Support President’s Special Initiatives – Pastor

Agona Swedru, Nov 30, GNA – The General Overseer of the Jesus End Time Gospel Church, Pastor Isaac Baah-Nyakoh, has called on Ghanaians to support the President’s Special Initiatives to promote business and to earn more foreign exchange for the country.

He said the programmes were not initiated to champion the political course or defeat of any political party and urged the people to give their maximum support to ensure their success.

Pastor Baah-Nyakoh was speaking to the GNA at Agona Swedru at the end of a three-day Fasting and Prayers programme for peace and stability for the nation under the theme “changing your destiny”.

He stressed the need for business men and women, Churches, organisations and the youth irrespective of their political affiliation to invest in the projects especially cassava, Palm oil and cotton cultivation and salt production to boost the economy.

The General Overseer deplored the attitude of some people who criticised policies for political reasons instead of assessing whether they could improve the economy.

Pastor Baah-Nyakoh called for programmes to use the large stretch of land lying idle in the country for the cultivation of cassava, palm oil and cotton to alleviate poverty.

He asked Churches to pray for the President, Ministers, MPs, Council of State Members, District Chief Executives and opinion and community leaders and to invest some of their proceeds in income generating ventures to create wealth and jobs for their members.
