Sunyani West NDC goes to polls Saturday

The
Sunyani West Constituency of the ruling NDC will on Saturday, November 20,
2011, go to the polls to elect their parliamentary candidate for the 2012 parliamentary
elections.
Venue
for the primaries is the Adwinsa Hotel at Nsoatre.
440
delegates would decide the fate of three candidates including the regional Mr. Kwadwo
Nyamekye Marfo, Football Administrator, Mr. Kofi Manu (Blue Boy) and Human Rights
Activist, Rev. Nana Adjei Ntow.
All
the three candidates have expressed great optimism at winning the election
which would be supervised by the Electoral Commission.
A
number of delegates who spoke to Space FM refused to name who they would vote
for but said they would definitely elect the one who would win the Sunyani West
seat from the current MP, Ignatius Baffour Awuah.
A
further underground work by our investigative and political desks revealed that
the race will favour the regional minister unless the unexpected happens. Nana
Adjei Ntow could however spring a surprise.
