Sunyani Police Central Cell Closed Down For Renovation

The Sunyani Municipal Police Central Cell in the Brong Ahafo Region, has been temporarily closed down with inmates relocated to other police cells in the region for renovation.

In an exclusive interview with Sunyani based Space FM, the Brong Ahafo Regional Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Mohammed N. Adams, disclosed that when he was ushered into office in June this year, he saw that the cell was in very deplorable state and needed immediate renovation.

?Funds were immediately sourced from the Police Administration to carry out the renovation?, he told Space News.

He said the contractor tasked to carry out the renovation is seriously working to ensure that the cells could be ready for use in the third week of August.
