‘Sunday Herald’ To Hit The Stands Soon

Accra (GAR), June 23, – The Sunday Herald, Ghana’s first independent Sunday newspaper, will be on the news stands on next Sunday, June 29. A statement released in Accra said today The Sunday Herald, with a separate colour supplement, will be home delivered in all the regional capitals. It has Mr Cofie Ammuako-Annan and Mr Joss Aryee as editor and deputy editor respectively. The statement said the format will consist of a tabloid main paper and a four-page supplement containing “The Living” section. The main paper which will be in black and white will carry news and features in business, politics, parliament and sports. The Living magazine which is in colour, will carry items on weekly entertainment, social events, book previews, dance, arts and theatre. There will also be a ‘Sons and Daughters’ section written by and for teenagers, the statement said.
