Students commends Ghanaians for successful election

Accra, Jan. 5, GNA – The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana on Tuesday congratulated Ghanaians for a successful election and appealed to political parties not to muddy the political waters in any way.

“They should allow us to enjoy the hard-won international respect we now enjoy, for this reputation translates into international goodwill and foreign investment,” the statement signed by Ms Josephine Adwoa Ashia, Acting SRC President said.

The SRC congratulated President John Agyekum Kufuor for his victory and called on him to fulfill commitment to education in general and higher education in particular.
