Strange mammal washed ashore at Sakumono beach

A strange mammal suspected to be whale has been washed ashore the Sakumono beach in Tema.

Residents say the decomposed body has been lying on the beach for the past two days, causing an overpowering stench from the shores of the Sakumono beach.

Part of the body of the headless mammal is rotten, with some of its body parts floating on the water. According to the residents, the body poses a serious health risk to them.

Meanwhile, the marine police and other security officials are yet to get to the scene to convey the remove the body.
