Stanbic worker who duped customers to the tune of GH¢900,000 has been arrested

Martha Amakye, the Stanbic worker who duped customers to the tune of a whopping GH¢900,000, has finally been arrested, Ghanacelebrities.com has been reliably told.

According to our sources, Ms Amakye, 33, was arrested at her hideout in Ashaiman, Accra — thanks to a tip-off.

It must be recalled that on January 2nd, the outsourced staff of Stanbic was declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service for defrauding customers. Martha had apparently absconded with the money to an unknown place.

While we are happy that her fraudulent ass has been arrested, we are sad and very angry that many of the customers duped by Martha have still not gotten back their monies.

One of the victims who spoke to GC said because of the utter disappointment of not getting her money back, she doesn’t want her money again.

“Am not interested they should take the money. You know after everything it affected me soo much, so I don’t want to get myself involved in it again. God is my judge,” one of the victims of Martha’s fraudulence told GhanaCelebrities.com.
