St. Lawrence school emerge champions

Cape Coast, Nov.3, GNA-Abura St. Lawrence JSS emerged the soccer champions when they beat Kakomdo Municipal Assembly (M/A) JSS 4-2 on penalties in the Pedu/Abura circuit inter basic schools annual sports competition held at Central region schools sports stadium at Adisadel on Friday.

In the primary division, Kakomdo M/A school beat Essuekyir M/A school 5-3 in the final match.

St Lawrence, also won the netball finals by beating Abura English Arabic school 12-0, while in the primary division, Abura Ahmadiyaa whipped Abura English Arabic 5-2.

In the volley- ball encounter, Essuekyir M/A school, beat their counterparts in Pedu ‘A’ M/A by 2-1, while in the girls division, Pedu ‘B’ M/A also beat Kakomdo JSS 2-1.
