St. John’s thug invasion: NAGRAT want student expelled

The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) is demanding the immediate dismissal of the 15-year-old primary five girl at the center of the Teacher assault saga at the St. John’s 1 and 2 primary school at New Town in Accra.

The St John’s 1 and 2 primary at Accra New Town has been shut down since the thugs unleased violence on teachers to avenge a punishment meted out to the said pupil.

NAGRAT which is unhappy about the failure of the Nima Police to arrest the suspects is also demanding that the pupil be sacked.

Angel Kabonu, the Vice President of NAGRAT said it is unfortunate that not even one person has been arrested one week after the incident.

“When the issue happened the Police said they could identify five of the people in the video and one wonders why a week on the Police have refused to arrest and bring them to book.

“The girl should also go and get another school to get educated because once you have humiliated people who worthy of giving you education and to make you somebody in society you don’t deserve to be taught by those same people,” Mr. Kabonu said.
