Dandwa (B/A), Dec 15, GNA- Mr Kwame Ampofo-Twumasi, the Nkoranza District Chief Executive, has presented a wheelchair and 50,000 cedis to a 40-year-old physically challenged woman at Dandwa in Brong Ahafo. The wheel chair is to encourage Madam Yaa Takyiwaa to play her role towards national development, the DCE said. Mr Ampofo-Twumasi said he would impress on the district assembly to adopt Miss Takyiwaa’s daughter who is a form two student of Nkoranza Secondary/Technical School. Mr. George Franklin Effah, Assembly Member for the area, expressed his appreciation for the DCE’s gesture, saying the offer was timely. He called on churches, benevolent agencies and other philanthropists to emulate the DCE and help the woman who lost her husband seven years ago. Madam Takyiwaa thanked the DCE for his concern and prayed for God’s guidance for him to continue to assist in the development of Nkoranza.
