As part of the Ghana @ 50 celebration, all Ghanaian teams in the US and Canada will be assembled in Chicago during the annual Ghana Fest the biggest festival outside Ghana on July 28th and 29th this year.
According to G2 Soccer the organizers of this event, the event dubbed as the “GHA-CHI CUP” will bring all Ghanaian and US soccer lovers and enthusiasts together to celebrate Ghana fest and Ghana Soccer at the same venue.
This is the first of its kind in the US as far as Ghanaian teams in the US are concerned and will become an annual event and hopefully become the biggest reunion of all Ghanaians in the Diaspora.
Sarson USA, a California based soccer apparel company is a major sponsor for this event. Sarson is currently finalizing a sponsorship deal with the Dansoman-based Liberty Professional Football Club of Ghana.
