Sixty people rendered homeless at Breman Asikuma

Breman Asikuma(CR), Oct. 16, GNA – Sixty people were rendered homeless, three buildings collapsed and property worth about 20,000 Ghana cedis were destroyed at Breman Asikuma following a heavy rainfall at Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District last Wednesday. Mr Sallas Awotwe, Finance and Administration Officer of the District National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO)briefing Ghana News Agency after inspecting the affected buildings and visiting the victims said the affected people were staying with friends and relatives.

He appealed to government, NGOs, organisations and philanthropists to assist the victims.
