Six babies born in two hospitals in Tamale on New Year Day

Tamale, Jan. 1, GNA – Two hospitals in the Tamale Metropolis recorded six births made up of five boys and a girl on New Year Day. The Tamale Teaching Hospital recorded four births, three boys and a girl while the Tamale West Hospital recorded two. Madam Amina Bukari, Senior Staff Midwife in charge of the Labour Ward in the West Hospital, told the GNA that both babies and mothers were healthy. Madam Mariama Fuseina, Midwife in charge of the Labour Ward in Tamale Teaching Hospital, said all the babies and their mothers are doing well.
